So I finished up that story that I was hoping to send to Surreal, and read through it, and was going to send it out, but as usual I checked the page first (since there's so much variance in guidelines and "proper manuscript format") and saw... they're closed to submissions for the summer ( Read more... )

Oy. I hear you, sugar. I've been banging my head against the damn keyboard since I started sending stories out again in May, as everything that liked my work and wanted me to send them something different is either not accepting submissions or I don't have anything fitting to send them. *thunks*

Lenox Ave, btw, once they reopen in Aug, are really good to submit to. They always replied within a week to my subs, sometimes within a day, and they've done extensive comments on my stories in the past. Definitely worth sending a story or two to. :)
