POLITICS = OPINIONS!!!

*whew* I am already feeling better.  After reading a bunch of posts about all this political stuff from people who refuse to read anything from any other side but there own, I felt this needed to be said.  And do NOT try to contradict me on this.  It is 100% true and all fact.  ( Read more... )

No, you are not a fool. I just think that it is pointless. Nothing is for sure and that is true. Studies show that most people have faith in the organization of our government but not our politicians. It makes you wonder which people they survey because you hear so many people that support Bush. You actually never hear anything good about Kerry. It is most just 'he is not AS bad as Bush.' Which is an absolutely wonderful way to pick the next PRESIDENT and LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD. Yes, we want someone with morals in the White House. Morals do not mean Christian morals. I have morals and I am a lesbian atheist. Yes, we want someone that can represent us well to the rest of the world. George W. Bush has destroyed our reputation and it would be crazy to let him stay. However, Kerry might be just as bad because we never know what he will do once he is given power. Neither candidate has an impressive record. And, either way, we are simply looking for the lesser of two evils. Screw Kerry. Screw Bush. Let's all move to Canada*. Everyone with ( ... )

For the most part, I agree with you. Politics seem too extreme nowadays. You're either one extreme or another; the media (the "voice" of the people....funny how they seem to tell the people what exactly to say instead of vice versa as it should be) won't let a "happy medium" exist. Politically, I feel that as a person who considers herself in the middle, I'm not represented. O'Riley's too ultraconservative for me (so ultraconservative that he comes off as a liberal), and Michael Moore is too liberal. I don't like either. Both need to shut the fuck up. ((I'll have to give you my Michael Moore rant sometime ( ... )
