So next weekend is the 2nd Annual Midsummer Mass Hangout up near Binghamton. I'm quite excited to go and see everyone (Mostly Troy). The boy and I will be getting a nice little hotel room up by Albany, and then we'll drive over together. I'm really, really excited. I was talking (well..texting) to Troy last night during the ride home from work/during the fireworks last night. During the drive, I was at a stop sign and noticed how nice the sunset was. So I sent him a text saying "The sunset looks really pretty"
I was surprised/happy to get a text back saying:

Time flies so fast...
I woke up this morning in a horrible mood. Just completely...horrible. I got to thinking "holy crap...I'm graduating after this...After these upcoming months I'll really have my degree." Things have been alright lately. Troy came down a few weeks ago and stayed a few nights. I had a good time with him being here, it's a lot different when someone is 3 hours away and you can't see them as often as you'd like. You were a good man, uncle. You always had a witty comment to make about everything, but that's what made you so amazing. I hope you're in a better place now, which I know you probably are.
