You live~! Dude, I reminisced recently in old posts of mine and realized you've been on my flist for a long time. :o Twas quite a trip.

Your MTA troubles made me go @__@! If they ripped you off, you should have complained and asked for a refund. It happened to a friend of mine recently. The machine to buy a Metro Rail ticket took her $5, but didn't register that it did. She had to go through crap just to have them say, "we'll refund you by mail." Who the hell knows if she's gonna even get it. :/

It was the first time a problem had ever arisen from using those machines and I've been taking Metro Rail since it was first put into use. *shrugs* It's the one in Los Angeles. I think they updated their site recently and it's harder to navigate. :/ But I LOVE Metro Rail, even if they've raised their prices twice. >.>
