Yes, it's true. I don't like Fridays anymore. You can, for the most part, blame this on my awesome friends. I don't like returning to my home and being alone for 2 days.
So, today we had 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 7th periods. I got to school early, and so I went to the library, where later Trey, Chelsea, and Clint gathered. Late entry is weird and screws with my routine. ):
2nd period, biology. We finished watching Over the Hedge. I'm hesitant to admit I kinda enjoyed the movie.
5th period, Spanish. They watched The Notebook. I say 'they' because Chelsea dragged me outside to the hallway, where we spent the whole period. She didn't want to watch the movie, and I could've cared less. I did care somewhat, however, because that meant no Daniel. Not like he would've sat in the seat beside me anyway, but hell, I could've stared at him or something. Anyway, our conversation was pretty varied. Mostly focused on Chelsea. Daniel and I did not talk much on the way to 6th -- in fact, he rushed ahead and off to his class.
6th period, algebra. They watched National Treasure. I once again say 'they' because I got out my iPod and doodled to vent my rejection. Nothing special. Anatomy is messed up. I don't really like it. It'll probably never see the light of day the internet.
7th period, world geo. They watched Hotel Rwanda. And again I say 'they' because I read Robot Visions. I'm almost done with it, just one or two essays left. The book is a very slightly worn, now, mostly because it's been tossed around to and from North Carolina and has been hassled by all my friends. Sorry, Jess. T_T
I was ready to call it a failure of a day when I joined everyone outside in our meeting spot. Soon after Derek left, Daniel took his place. And he had taken his shirt off, revealing a tight, sleeveless white shirt, which looked amazing on him. That's probably an understatement.
Unfortunately I only got to see him like that for about 2 minutes max. My mother arrived then, and when I stood up Daniel got up too, and went back inside the school. However, Andria had taken a picture in that timeframe of 2 minutes. So, I begged her to send me the videos of gaming club she still has, and that picture. They are currently in my possession, and that picture of this afternoon is treasured greatly. <3
So, Lovers is getting angstier. But it's not bad angst. It's angst that makes sense. The writer is very skilled, doesn't forget things. I did a bit more research, the writer is female. So, that explains everything. 7 episodes into the show and the two main characters are STILL not hooked up. In fact, they kinda hate each other! Amazing. o_o
In the process of downloading 8. C'mon, Megaupload, go faster! 25kb/s is NOT acceptable!
Otto is convinced that when Daniel told me "I like someone" he could have/was referring to me. The evidence against that is overwhelming, so no matter how much I want to believe him, I can't. Sigh... still waiting for Daniel to elaborate on our last conversation. He was online briefly this evening but did not IM me.
I'm good at waiting.
