So, I totally woke up at 8:33. Three minutes over when I normally leave home. Yeah, panic. But, I got to school on time, even long enough to spend a couple minutes in front of the library. Uuh, yeah, it's probably not a good idea to stay up until 3am anymore.
We got new seats in multimedia, and I am not enjoying it. I have been moved all the way to the other side of the room, and no longer sit next to my friends. Matt is four seats away, and Austin is sitting at my old seat. What the hell, Ms. Jones.
On my way to the library for third period English, I finally discovered what class Daniel has 3rd period. (Nope, I absolutely do not have an educated guess of his schedule in the back of my agenda. Absolutely not.) So, by process of elimination, I now have his full schedule. Haha. Ugh.
Spanish, we didn't do anything. We had a weird bell schedule since there was a volleyball game after 5th period to raise money for prom. Ms. Stovall just put on a movie and we sat there. I attempted to finish my drawing of Marth but it's ugly so I've given up. Then, the game, and everyone left. However, me, Chelsea, Daniel, and two other guys remained, since we didn't want to go to the game and/or didn't have the money to. Chelsea joined me in the seat next to mine and we talked almost the whole time. Daniel worked on his homework. After a while we left for 6th period. Chelsea ran ahead, afraid of being late (even though they were gonna be lenient because of the game release), and I followed her. Daniel stayed behind and walked.
6th period, Travis and I were both in bad moods, so we didn't talk. Before he left, though, he told me he hopes I feel better, which was really nice of him.
7th period, I convinced Laurel to join me at gaming club. So, she did, and on our way there Andria told us that today was a 'special meeting.' This intrigued me, so we went earlier than we normally do.
At gaming club, everyone was sitting in the center of the room. We joined them. It turns out the founder of the gaming club came to see what's up, and also pimp his new place. He's opening a gaming center to rival the ShadowLAN here. Pretty cool stuff. He said they have all the consoles, as old as the NES, dedicated rooms for RPG gaming, PC gaming, arcade, etc. I really admired him. He said as they got more money, they'd get more arcade games, including DDR. I was obligated to ask what version, and he said the latest, and after a bit of debate with Aaron, they decided SuperNova was the latest. (What is this DDR Universe they spoke of? Hmm.) So, woot!
Opening night is free, next Friday. I hope I'll be able to go...
That meeting took up most of gaming club. Afterwards, all the guys played Guitar Hero II while everyone else watched or played Warcraft. 10 minutes before I was planning to get a ride with Derek, Daniel arrived. He simply took a seat near the front of the room and watched Guitar Hero. I had an extra advertisement flyer for the gaming center (named Agent Gaming, with Agent Smith as the mascot. kekeke) since Derek didn't want his, so I gave it to Daniel with a brief "I'm not sure if you're interested, but you missed this special meeting." That is, depressingly enough, the extent of our communication (or lack thereof) today.
I didn't really want to leave, but it was either that or walk home. Before I left, though, I made a new friend, who if I remember correctly, was named Jeremy. :3 He was nice~ Though he and Matt made fun of my freshmanness. >>;
When Derek's mother dropped us off, Derek and I initiated "the exchange." He gave me his Wii and $30, and I traded him my OMG until Christmas.
So I now have a Wii in my possession, however temporary. I am very anxious to start playing Zelda. Conveniently, my mother and Jon are going out to dinner tonight, leaving me with the badass HD TV. I'll hafta figure out how to get the Wii plugged in and working, but I've got time.
Re: Geki 10
Uhm. Perverted elephant. Not liking this. Though I'll admit, the suit is well made. Goddamnit Jan, I'm normally able to tolerate hotheaded reds like you and Kai, but you're starting to hurt my brain.
Re: Akihabara@DEEP THE MOVIE
What else can I say but FUCK YES? I miss the TV series cast -- this cast has nothing on them -- but it was still a great movie. Really messed up. And in Nakagomi's penthouse? Oh hell yeah, Kamen Rider Ichigo figure. And by his pet? I spotted Mediawork's Kamen Rider Kabuto, what I think was a 12" AbareKiller, SH BoukenBlue, SH BoukenPink, and possibly the others off screen, etc. etc. I believe that corner was his tokusatsu corner. Hell yeah!
Despite the change in cast, I still loved Page in this. And Izumu. (lol gender switch) In fact, by the end of the movie, they pretty much all won my heart. ^^;
I've got a couple of chores to do, so I better start that before it cuts into my gaming time.
