In Times of Need by kireira (oneshot, gen) Go was the only thing he could turn to, and his rival was the only one capable of giving him the kind of Go he needed. I can't really describe it, but I really like kireira's interaction between Touya and Shindou. The bond between them as rivals just clicks for me in this fic.
Just Visiting by kireira (oneshot, gen) A nice, understated Hikaru and Akira get an apartment together fic. Plays on the cliche, but kireira does it in such a cute way that I just love it.
About Creating Worlds by katharos_8 (oneshot, gen) Written for temps_mort and since I don't want to give it away, I can still say that even with *insert plot device here* the fic still carries itself as a good Hikago fic.
Same Path by svz_insanity (oneshot, gen) Thoughts on the path you have to travel to become a better go player and reach the hand of god. Nicely executed walking/running metaphors and the fic is a nice introspective piece from Touya Akira's point of view.
You don't realize how so many people try to walk the same path, and how many of them fall and you have to walk on top of them-crushing their hopes and dreams.
Names by hanahadauncute (oneshot, AkiHika) A cute little story that chronicles a conversation between Shindou and Touya about names.
"Then why do *you* call me Shindou-pro? I haven't beaten you since I became a pro."
A pause crackled in the air. "Because I've seen you become the player you are today, and I can't help but respect that."
