Kadaj rushed into the bedroom he shared with Yunalesca, concern written on his face as he sped to her side, kneeling down and taking her hand in his own.

"Beloved... everything's going to be okay..."

He smiled gently, a tear forming in one of his eyes.

"You never told me we were having twins..."

Kaa-san has disowned me.

I spent so many months looking for her... devoted my life to finding her again... risked everything I had to bring her back so I could see her... and now she no longer acknowledges me as her son.
