So...

I can't help but feel like people are dropping the ball this school term. It seemed that by this time last year, we'd already had a few interesting events. Maybe something will happen soon...other than this light and dark war that seems to be going on in my room. It's exhausting and I don't even care about it.

i'm disappointed in the lack of gossip a

No one's asking you to care about things. Just care about ducking if you see either of us pointing a hand at the other like we're going to shoot him in the face with something. I'm sure you wouldn't want your own flawless face getting caught in the crosshairs, so it's only fair to warn you.

Maybe we should bunk a couple of the beds so that you two can have your own little side of the room to fight over and I can have the rest for peace and quiet.

No. For the good of maintaining relative peacefulness in the room, you have to stay in the middle and keep us separate.

Yeah, no. You two are big boys. Figure out how to survive peacefully on your own.

I was surprised too that nothing has happened yet, but you should probably enjoy it while you can.

I've got some tea that helps with relaxing. You can drop by any time to have some or just hang around if you'd like some peace.

It's just so boring when there's nothing going on. It wasn't so bad last term in the boring parts because there was always a certain someone something news-worthy happening.

I don't need to relax. I need to find out what people are up to and why they're not creating good gossip this term.

...Light fixture broken? You could always just let the sun dictate the reigns of darkness and light like in the old days. Or, you know, call maintenance.

Even if it were broken, it's not like we really need it in my room. One of my roommates and myself have powers based on light, the other roommate has a power based on dark.

So the room is perpetually filled with dim light. What's the problem?

If only. Dim light would be okay but the other two seem to be in a neverending war over just how light/dark the room should be and refuse to compromise. I think they're just annoyed at having the same name.
