I actually changed the one line you quoted, sorry! :\ just subsituted "chaos" for "entropy"... it changes the meaning of the line a bit, but for the better, imo.

And because I haven't commented there I'll just be lazy and do it here: lovedlovedloved the story. You have this way of balancing images -- hot and cold, chaos and order -- that's just amazing and comes off as completely effortless; not just in this story, but nearly always, I think.
