My current position requires that we look at data to try and improve student achievement. I agree that it is positive and necessary. That said, I was hurt and disappointed for my friends at RR and DDHS when they were used as a tool in Aug. to say they were not working hard enough. Anyone that bothered to look at the real data, knew that RR improved in almost every area and showed higher scores in some areas than either of the other middle schools. This is also true of DDHS.
The pendulum always swings. I think you will be there when it swings back. This give me hope.
