I'm going to be a doctor!

It is truly the most amazing feeling in the world to realize that you are actually going to be doing something that you've thought about since you were 7 years old.  I am completely in shock.

Lately, I hate being alone with my thoughts, because they always turn to Chris, and then IM his away message (because he has been online ALL THE TIME lately) and either he IMs me back and makes my day, or he doesn't.  It's really awful, and it's going to crush me, but I can't stop myself.  I don't know, I feel like I don't have anyone I can turn to ( Read more... )

So, this has been a crazy week.  The really bad thing was that my mom was in the hospital, but everything is ok now.  Yesterday was my last day at the PogoLab.  I will miss Helen and Michele and the PCR room.

But, the main reason for this post is that my dad just gave me his DVD list.

So when I was in the car accident we had to give the police officers our information and ever since I've been getting mail from accident lawyers and doctors and fun stuff like that. so, after two days of work my biggest accomplishment is making seven agarose gels. only two of them were for me, because I am a nice lab bitch. I don't have a locker, but I do have a lab coat. eventually, I'll be doing RT-PCR on breast tumor RNA, but for now I'm just practicing with pre-made primers and RNA.
