I'm getting ready to make a variation of one of my first fonts available for sale. Right now, it's called Vocaloid (after the Yamaha products and icon, though it has really nothing to do with that). However, if I'm readnig TESS right, I could be running into a possible trademark violation with Yamaha

Thanks. I'm not MARRIED to the name, but I do like it. And sadly, I've seen what happens when smaller companies run afoul of larger ones all too often. Not pretty. I'm also figuring if I write Yamaha, I'm probably going to receive nothing more than a form letter demanding a license fee.

When I think of Vocaloid I think of Miku Hatsune.

Seconding the suggestion of sticking with "Shibuya Dancefloor" which if I didn't know any better, would've thought it was a name for a font anyway.
