TV Talk (take 2)
What did lj do to its interface?! My lj-cut text keeps failing >=(
So, fine, Fringe 4x01:
That was, as most are saying, different. Of course the credits
were changed =) Will never get tired of them messing with those. And now
we've got our promised third - yellow - universe! =D
So is Alt!Liv still with Frank? Are Rachel and Ella okay? Henry can't exist,
right? Was Gene now Jane? How long will this universe last?
Walter was Walter but sadder; Olivia was Olivia but sadder and wearing brighter clothing (so she wasn't
experimented on, then? As Cortexikids were told to wear the "blacks and
grays", to blend in, after all.) Astrid was awesome as per usual :)
Nice to see her out in the field, but she called him Dr. Bishop, didn't
she? And he remembered her name! I think that was the biggest surprise ;)
I usually don't miss Peter too much (like when Our Actual
Olivia was in Alt!World and thinking she was nuts), but I think I'm
missing the effect he's had on Olivia. Seeing her so desolate, while
still badass - Alt!Liv's harsh words definitely had the ring of truth to
them, and she felt every barb, you could tell - it makes me a bit sad,
too. But that's what we're supposed to feel, 'cause a piece is missing.
Really glad Geeky!Lincoln was recruited. Knew he had to be, 'cause he's a
great partner to Alt!Liv so he'd be at least equally good for Our
Olivia. Seems like it has been a long time since she's had a partner,
too, which is just more sad =(
In the preview, Alt!Liv has messy blond hair. Is this purely to confuse us when she's in the field with Our Olivia (okay, not technically Our Olivia...), to make it more difficult for her enemies (as she's dressed identically to Our Girl, but Our Girl knows it this time), or because Anna Torv doesn't like the wig very much? :3

The Cougarton Abbey joke is the best thing in the entire universe right
now. I hadn't seen the episode but saw a gif on tumblr and it nearly
killed me with its awesome. And then I saw the episode and have
rewatched those parts, the "Inspector Spacetime" XD and the musical
opening so very, very many times, and it doesn't get old. Jeff/Annie!!! &hearts It is perfect. I love this show.
Parks and Rec 4x01:
Ron's escape was amazing. How quick is Tom going to crash and burn? Poor Ann,
all those penises XD Why did she keep her phone on? Doesn't Chris just
have to rescind the rule and then Leslie and Ben can be together? Will
that seriously take the entire season?? It can't, right?
