...Is Man Up popular? Ew. I've been assuming it's just... there. But yeah, I guess, the more ridic a premise, the more likely it seems sometimes that you'll find someone to buy into it.

I've just started watching Community, and it's so delicious. Which just makes me nervous that I'll also activate the 'love it and it's gone' paradigm.

It got a full season, while Happy Endings just barely squeaked by. Think it's hitting up the Two and a half men demographic =P
I appear to only like shows on the verge of disappearing. I'm trying to be positive; Fringe was dead in the water last year and amazingly got a full season pick-up, so that's a miracle to focus on. And there's plenty of online Community fans to commiserate with right now.

And that's the way people watch TV nowadays. Networks have got to really wake up to this fact.

Why can't the American public have better taste in tv? ;)

:sigh: Right?

This is such a shitty move by NBC. I...may have also read way too much about Community in AV comments and other places online. It's such an awesome show and this is really disappointing to hear. I wish I could help support it some way too; I watch it live but of course that doesn't actually count for anything it seems.

NBC is just a bad idea machine.

You get all caught up in it, can't stop. And it's just fun to analyze fave shows/books/movies, find others who love what you love.

I wish I could help support it some way too; I watch it live but of course that doesn't actually count for anything it seems.

A write-in/mail-in campaign might be put into effect soon (a la Chuck, Fringe and Jericho). I'm hoping it's felt goatees, but I'd throw in a purple pen as well. Watching on Hulu and apparently more so on NBC.com does factor in, as does twittering about it, getting it trending; basically, getting the word out. And buying the DVDs, which are awesome 'cause they have commentary on every episode - which is amazing - and tons and tons of bloopers.
