After many months of searching, I finally got a job! Last Thursday I had an interview with Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina. I'm actually being represented by an IT staffing company called Systemtec. My interview went well, but I didn't feel like I got the job when I left the office. Wow, that's quite impressive that they opened the position specifically for you - I guess they really liked you! Big congratulations to you, you deserve it =)

I'm not sure how it is looking for a job after you graduate, but I'm looking for one now and it sucks - classes take up so much time and so many jobs seem to want experience or "just graduated" people, the only thing an undergrad could theoretically offer would be the ability to take on any schedule, but alas I can't even do that =( Oh well, the fact that you have a job now offsets that somewhat ;P Make sure to update us with how it is working there once you start!

When I graduated in December, there was a serious lack of jobs for new graduates. That's one of the biggest downfalls to graduating then.

Of course I will post many an entry dealing with work and such. ^^

Congratulations! ^.^ As for the interview - well, it always seems to me that the ones I walk away thinking were great I never hear from again, and the ones I thought I did terrible on always call me back. =P Good luck with your new work, though.
