Pipe broke on Saturday.

Boston (and surrounding areas) can't drink tap water, or use it for tooth brushing, dish washing or bathing children, without boiling it first.

I'm hoping that this situation resolves itself soon.

Otherwise, we might have zombie apocalypse on our hands....

Thanks for the texts about this. Turns out we're safe - hippie Cambridge has its own water supply, so it's not affected even though everything around it is. If you want to come by to fill an empty jug or two, let us know!

Chris and I had some lovely tap water in Cambridge on Sunday. It was very romantic :-P

Thanks for the offer! I got a big pot of boiled water and a gallon jug I imported all the way from scenic Worcester. I should be good.
