Back from Barcelona, with the flu. Or just a cold with ideas above its station, who can tell. I'm feeling a bit better after a regime of Lemsip, instant noodles and sleep, but still a bit woozy. Maybe coming into work today was a mistake... will try not to fall into giant salad pot. Eating seems to be helping though. Clearly woman cannot live on

i also feel the eyre affair is significently less good than all the books that follow it - although becca and my father enjoyed it a lot when i gave it to them (despite feeling it was not all that great). the one where she's staying in the land of fiction for the whole thing is particularly excellent (i think that's third - and then they stay good from there. i also really like the spin-offs. but not shades of grey - which was boring).
