- In Chicago. Visited Shimer, which is a good school, but has the problem of not being in New York or San Francisco. I guess I'll apply to it, but I dunno if I'd actually want to go. Chicago is nice, but I dunno if I want to live here. It's cold here, and the Ambulances sound like warning sirens when they go by

Wilde doesn't mention Rimbaud in his letters (at least he's not in the index), but he was very interested the Symbolist movement (see Salome) so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was familiar with his poetry. Personality-wise, I suspect ego would have gotten in the way.

What type of notes, out of curiosity?

All different stuff. Some of it is notes on the actually book such as hero archetype stuff and foreshadowing that happens, some on the writing, some just me yelling in a very biased and Slytherin manner.
