Sadly, I finally have a job that encourages costumes for Halloween and I am all tuckered out and not feeling the costume love.
I'm not much help - I'm in a similar situation. Past 3 years I was the ONLY one in my group to dresss up (though I did attend the campus-wide costume contest where there were a couple dozen people dressed up) and now I am hearing stories about my new scottish co-worker in drag and I am just feeling... uninspired. I suppose I could reuse the goth fairy costume. Afterall none of the new coworkers have seen it and they would all be impressed. But that feels like cheating.
I vote for the 20's. Flapper or Gangster, either works for me. The advantage of doing the Gangster is that you can get a picture of it this year.
As for myself, I'm probably just going to wear a hat, or some silly antennae or something. This is a rather humorless company, and I'm not sure how much anything big would be appreciated.
