Oh, who knows. Stranger things have happened. I know people who don't watch the show who have watched the make-out scene from 3x19. People know who D/E are even if they haven't watch the show. They might click, they might get sucked in by your recap and they might start watching! *hope, hope, hope*

They are not a sparkly, fun, happy ship, though - Damon has hurt her, threatened to turn her and fed her his blood twice, snapped her younger brother’s neck (he lived, there was a magic ring).  Damon doesn't really understand how to deal with his emotions, and he lashes out.

Bless you for being so frank and unapologetic about how fucked up these two are.

There are a few fics here I haven't read before. OMG! (LOL, I'm always certain I've exhausted the non-terrible material in this fandom.) Btw, I think the link for Between is wrong. It links to a different story. Thanks for compiling such a comprehensive list. :P
