Thank Yous

Jun was feeling strong enough for company and so turned her attention to the sympathies Derek had relayed to her. She only had so much composure so all the notes she meant to write, did not get written.

Dear Lina,
I heard about what you had to say about our recent loss. Thank you for your condolences.
Sincerely,
Jun.

Dearest Hippolyta,
Derek told me you took the news pretty hard. Thank you for being with us that way. It would hurt much more if we were all alone, I think. Anyway, I don't think there's anything you can do besides what you have already. I have needed time and I will be needing more of it, frankly. But sometime in the future, I may want quiet company. I thank you ahead of time for that. And I thank you for your kind consideration.
Sincerely,
Jun

Dear Ramon,
Thank you for kind words. It meant a lot to me when Derek told me. Please take care.
Jun

Dear Eileen,
Thank you for sharing in our grief. It meant a lot to me to hear of it. Please take care.

Eiko,
Thank you. As Derek told you we didn't need the coffin after all. We took care of him the old way. The mess-up was not your fault. If I had submitted to the c-section sooner maybe my son would be with me now. It was a bad time and I was very scared. I should have trusted you. But what's done is done. Thank you for all your help and good intentions.
Your friend,
Jun
PS: I am taking my medicines and feeling stronger every day.

Dear Lord Djehuty,
Thank you for your kind attentions. The incense is very nice. When I smell the beautiful incense, I will think of him.
Sincerely,
Jun-the-Swan wife of Derek Bliss

I hope you never go through anything like this, Trixie.

He was a boy. He died before he could be delivered. His bones were weak, fragile. It was something in the nexus temporal fluxes that did it. Eiko had to do an emergency c-section. She tried get him out in time to help him, but, the timing wasn't good. I tell myself, he'll never know what war is. He'll never know what cold is. I tell myself, that no one wil ever hurt him. It doesn't really help.

But we'll go riding some day maybe soon. Like we're always talking about. And we'll have a good time. And I'll tell you his name.

I'll see you as soon as I can.

love,
Jun

Dear Lord Holland,
Thank You. I understand you know what this is like. I'm so sorry.
