 *cough

Hi, everyone. I'm sorry I haven't replied to any messages or comments. I kind of just got back to Japan. I missed the tsunami by a day (got on the plane on March 10th). After that it's hard to come back as I tried to reroute to Fukuouka or Kansai. Not much luck though. *cough*

And I have been down with flu for ( Read more... )

Skip Beat 172 wasn't what we cared about. I, anyway, wasn't sure where you WERE when the tsunami hit. I thought you had gotten BACK to Tokyo on March 10th and wasn't sure where you'd have been.

I did look up your school in Ube though, and then Ube's tourist site (or whatever it is, I couldn't read much of it even with a translation) and it seemed as though there was little to no damage in that are (I looked on a map too and with the angle of the tsunami it did look like it would sort of wash past Ube rather than washing OVER it). So then I figured you were probably okay and just really busy.

Sorry you're sick. Hope you feel better soon :) (I hope this comment posts...LJ has been kicking me out constantly this morning.)

Aw. Sorry and thanks for worrying about me. I had to come back to Japan by way of Narita, and my family tried to delay me from coming back as well, they were worried about the radiation. Yes, I've been really busy these past few weeks as my professor wanted reports on the work done at the research center (which I'm not sure is safe or not :/ )..

Yep, LJ has been doing that to me for the past few hours.. I thought it was my PC :( Oh, well. I'll edit the trans later.

And thanks again, mel.

No, if you're okay, it's all good :) I hope everyone you know is okay, too.

And thanks for the 173 translation, it's lovely. This is quite a turn of events in Skip Beat, with Kyoko now breaking into though regularly about Ren and her feelings and so on. It's certainly progress, which everyone has been shouting for for a long time, now :)

Don't work too hard with that cold of yours...stress makes it easier for the bugs to take over and have a party.

Oh...btw...just in case you want the information...

LJ's problems of late stem from a DDoS attack, probably of Russian origin, though I'm not sure if the origin is absolutely confirmed, yet. We can expect continuing weirdness. Some people are finding that their userpics are disappearing and then reappearing and so on.

Found the info through Google and then through a visit to LJ's maintenance com.

You are fine!, you are ok!, I was really really worried almost for a month!

Golden_meliades is right, we wasn't worried for the translation as much as what if you weren't alright or if you can't communicate because of all the chaos of the tsunami or if, well, if you were gone (from this world).

It's glad to read that you are fine, with flu but fine.

Send you lots of hugs and lots of virtual tissues. \(^.^)/

BTW, thanks for the translation! ^.^

Weeee!!!
Thank you so much, shirayuri-chan! This is such a marvellous translation - really the best one out there, it's so fluent yet maintains the original meanings so perfectly!! Brilliant work!

And I really hope you get better soon! So glad you were at least not affected much by all those crazy and depressing events of March...

Cheers,
Elle
