As Adele said, sad but true :(
Fuck, people who don't de-sex their pets really piss me off. We should sterilise those irresponsible assholes!
I'm really sick of people who claim to love animals treating them like inanimate objects.
And what's worse are the people who claim that they're 'too poor' to get their cat fixed. When Mikey & I first got Kika we were flat broke students living in a shitty one bedroom apartment with no cash to spare even on clothes, but we still managed to beg/borrow/scrape enough money together to get our baby de-sexed, because we love her. The fucking woman who I used to work for (the one who ran Subversion) owned several different properties and had stupidly rich parents, yet still claimed that she couldn't afford to get her cats fixed as well as let them run around outside at night, so they all used to get pregnant :\
So wrong.

Ugh - Maia was our most expensive vet trip & it came to a total of $115. That just meant not getting heaps of drinks/takeout that week. If you can't afford to get them desexed then you can't afford to have them at all - as soon as we got a kitten we'd start preparing for the operation.
I mean - fine - you may think it's ok - they're inside - they don't need to be desexed but what happens if they get out? Plus with the added behavioural benefits why wouldn't you?
People make my head hurt.
