Neato. All I've ever heard about turkey is that its unbearably oppressingly hot, and sometimes giant spiders crawl out of sink drains at night. Glad you're enjoying yourself so far.

The heat during the day is enough that it saps my appetite and will make it difficult to sleep in but there seems to be a constant breeze to mitigate the temperature so it's not too bad yet. I haven't seen any spiders yet, or any insects/bugs for that matter.

I didn't realize they had bars in air ports.

"Boston drivers have nothing on these guys..." That is a terrifying thought.

It sounds huge. What kinds of fruits do they have there? Do you have a fan or anything to help you cope with the heat?

That sounds like quite the interesting group of people. It's good to hear that things are going well for you. ^_^

i think pretty much all airports have bars, the frequent fliers use them to stay sane (hopefully the pilots don't).

the place does seem quite huge, and I've only seen a small portion of it so far. the fruit is pretty traditional, i've eaten apples, bananas, and a peach, I've also seen grapes, some berries, and figs.

That makes sense. I should hope that the pilots don't. That could end quite badly.

Figs are delicious and very useful in making sauces and other such things.
