Hi people. Thanking you lots for the very enthusiastic feedback these past weeks, you can grab today's playlist
HERE and on with the...
01. Noir Désir - Vive La Fête
Before I get confused comments (if I get any) saying "but isn't Noir Désir a band? Why is it a creepy girl singing?", NO, the band is NOT Noir Désir, but Vive La Fête and Noir Désir is the title of the song. Heard it in J'ai Tué Ma Mère (pretty good and nice film if I may say so) thanks to
waders heh and loved it. The lyrics are fun, the rhythm is something I fell in love with right away and special comment on the way the singer snaps and starts screaming in the middle of the song. So screwy I loved it. In short: love.
02. Triumph And Loss - Audiomachine
Epic music for epic moments. I cannot say much about it except that yes, I am definitely and forever in love with Audiomachine.
03. Hit List - Audiomachine
Since I am oh so in love with that band, you have to bear with two more pieces from them. Hit List is what I would call a true spirit-lifter. Really. And it motivates me when I have something to do but do not want to XD
04. Nordica - Audiomachine
I just loved the chors and the overall atmosphere, the music, the drums... epic music in both meanings of the term.
05. Macadam Cowboy - Broken Box
Oh how I love that song, the lyrics, the singer's voice, the instrumental... everything about it made me shiver and I would go as far as to say that I would totally love to make out on it. Seriously, it gives me goosebumps.
06. Save Theme - Misao Senbongi & Shusaku Uchiyama
Gamers will immediately recognize Resident Evil IV's music when Leon goes to a writing-machine. I just love it and there is nothing to add. Peaceful yet it still brings up a little anguish, slightly dark feeling when I listen to it and I have to bow to the composer as the subtleness of this piece is remarkable.
07. I Wrote The Book - Beth Ditto
Not that I am too fond of this singer but. This could very well be the exception.
And that will be it for this week.
