You know.. I feel like a fool, wearing this ring. I haven't heard from Benji in weeks, which feels like months. I understand that he has a busy schedule, but so do I. Unless he comes back soon... I... I think we'll have to call the engagement off. I've had a lot of time to think the past few weeks, and I don't think I could take this

Aw, Shiri, you're doing the right thing. Believe me. You need to hear from him at some point, or else the relationship is pretty much pointless. Relationships thrive on communication... they wouldn't call them relationships if you didn't need to constantly communicate with your partner to build some level of .. companionship. I don't know if anything I just said made any sense at all.. if it didn't, I'm sorry, and if it did - hey! Glad it made sense, and I hope it helped. *giggles* I'm always here for you, Shiri. Maybe we're mean to be... and will be together when we have more time to be with one another. I guess that for now, it just isn't going to work out.
