Polyshrink Plastic Commission Information
POLYSHRINK COMMISSION INFORMATION
Details
These commissions are for an opaque plastic conbadge, magnet or keyring. Keyrings also come with the option of being transparent (highly recommended and is in fact the default option :)). You can now also get hangers for your car mirror, Chrismas tree ornaments, earrings and necklaces!
All items are coloured in pencils and come varnished.
Varnish information
All items I make will come varnished to protect the colour work.
Gloss
Used on: Badges, magnets.
Details: This varnish leaves a slight shine to the badge which is pretty when it catches in the light. Depending on how shiny you want it I can add additional coats of varnish for no extra cost. This is the default varnish for badges and magnets
Flat Matt:
Used on: Badges, magnets.
Details: This varnish leaves no shine and is merely to protect the colour work. Because of the way it is applied though it can smear the pencil work. Therefore I will ONLY do this varnish on request.
Plastic:
Used on: Keyrings, Car Hangers, Christmas Ornaments.
Details: This varnish encases the item in solid plastic leaving a smooth, shiny surface and giving it a professional look (as well as blending the colours wonderfully). As it is applied with the use of heat some bending does occur during the process but it is normally not too distracting (some even say it adds character!). This is the default varnish for Keyrings, Car Hangers and Christmas Ornaments.
PLEASE NOTE
Orders placed after Dec 6th will NOT be ready for Christmas - the cut off posting date for most places has ended and as such I cannot get the items delivered to you by Christmas in most cases.

Please email me at shikaark@hotmail.com stating the product you would like, a description of your character and reference images of your character for me to work from and I will get in contact with you. Usually from sketch to completed product (after payment) is approximately 2-7 days depending on how busy I am irl.
Alternatively you can comment on this post, once your commission is completed your comment will be screened (I can also do this by request if the item is a gift for instance).

Badges
Information
Badges can feature either a bust or a full portrait of your character with your chosen name in block letters. The badges come varnished in either flat coat, gloss or solid plastic and come with a pin attached at the back in order to attach to your clothing. Plastic is OPAQUE.

Magnet
Information
Magnets can feature either a bust or a full portrait of your character with the option of your chosen name in block letters similar to a conbadge. The magnets come varnished in either flat coat, gloss or solid plastic and come with a strip of magnet across the back. Plastic is OPAQUE.

Keyring
Information
Keyrings can feature either a bust or a full portrait of your character with the option of your chosen name in block letters similar to a conbadge (please note, if you select TRANSPARENT plastic then be aware that the lettering will be reversed on one side). The keyrings come varnished in either flat coat or gloss and come with a keychain already attached. Plastic can be OPAQUE or TRANSPARENT (transparent however is MUCH nicer when completed and is the default option).

Car Hangers
Information
Car hangers can feature either a bust or a full portrait of your character. These are transparent and come default with plastic gloss coating as this is by far the most attractive varnish for these. These items are designed to hang from the mirror of your car and as such come with black or silver elastic attached (your choice), leather coated cord or thin chain if requested (may charge slightly extra for chain depending on availabilty).
NOTE: As of October 2006, all car hangers now come with a metal ring attached to the top and 12" overall of leather cord as it displays them better.

Christmas Tree Ornaments
Information
Christmas ornaments can feature either a bust or a full portrait of your character either in their regular attire or with some Christmassy clothing such as reindeer antlers, bells or santa hats. These are transparent and come default with plastic gloss coating as this is by far the most attractive varnish for these. By default the background colour for these items is a festive red or green but I will willingly do any other colours by request. To hang from your Christmas tree, the ornament has a matching coloured ribbon threaded through the top and tied in a small bow.

Earrings (NEW PRODUCT!)
Information
These earrings come in a variety of default designs (such as foxtailed teardrop or simple round disks with a motif of your choice) as well as giving you the option of having your own design (such as a character bust). The plastic used on the earrings is transparent and come default with plastic gloss coating as this is by far the most attractive varnish for these. The findings used in these pieces are high quality silver plated and conform to all the latest EC Nickel Directives (this means they have a very low nickel content and are less likely to cause sensitivity or allergic reactions). I also have two sizes of earwires, Regular (2.2 cm length) or Small (1.9 cm length).

Example earrings #2 shows a circular design in purple with a black pawprint, varnished in plastic gloss (VERY shiny) with SMALL sized earwires. (created 5.1.06)
Necklaces (NEW PRODUCT!)
Information

A NOTE ON SIZES (IN REGARDS TO ALL ITEMS)
As these items are shrunk... they can get rather small. I normally cut out the character with just a thin border around them (naturally this means they will be a fair bit smaller). If you would like a slightly larger size I can easily do a simple coloured background and give you a rectangular, square or oval badge/magnet/keyring rather than a "cutout".

Postage
Postage for all items is £2 (this covers shipping to the UK and the US, some countries may have different rates). Shipping costs pay for the box and shipping materials as well as the cost of shipping itself.
Items are wrapped in bubblewrap, have shredded paper or tissue paper included for padding and shipped in a box. As previous commissioners will tell you I package my items securely to avoid damage in transit.
