Holy crap! An earthquake! RIGHT UNDER MY FEET.
So I'm sitting at home, watching the dub of Tengen Toppen Gurren Lagann. ( :) But, for the record, the sub's better. But the dub is fantastically good. :P ) Everything's fine; I just took a shower, so I feel great, and it isn't fifty-million degrees outside.
Well, for those who know Gurren Lagann, you know the part in the first episode where the (under)ground shakes, right before the Gunman falls in? Yeah. Well, right as that starts, the ground actually starts shaking.
Apparently, since I'm back in Chino Hills at the moment, the epicenter of the quake was right under my feet. Or at least freakishly close. In retrospect, it was kinda cool (only a 5.4, after all), but it was a bit scary at the time. ;)
First time I've heard Chino Hills on the news. o.O
