So yeah, another reason that I am done with social work. This was in the employee bathroom. When I said something to facilities to have them clean it up, it still stayed in there all day. Man, I cannot WAIT til I am working only in a private mental health care facility...

I didn't realize how good the pic came out, considering the subject material; the other pic I took was HELLA blurry and all. In the morning,t he ants were SWARMING all over the damn thing. We're talking major grossout here. I am just hoping that the thing was poisoned so that the ants are bringing poison back to the nest...

As it should be! XD My fear of bugs actually comes from when I lived in California as a kid..I saw lots of roaches like that, and sooooooooo many ants..x.x

Seeing shit like this makes me wonder why ANYONE would ever want to become an entymologist. I mean FUCK, you're dealing with bugs all day long and shit. While I loved holding the tarrantula, (did you see that pic?) a lot of bugs are just plain disgusting. Roaches being second on that list, only topped in grossness by house centipedes. THEY give me the wiggins.

I so agree.

I did see the tarantula picture. Hee hee. I love those critters but I don't want to touch them. Mainly because of my irrational fear of germs. Same reason I don't touch animals or people or most things in nature.;)

I had to kill one of those house centipedes last night! Yikes! I nearly stepped on it in my socks! Ick. But I saw it and caught it with a tissue.

Yugg. They send me into a fit of fury. You know what a cat is like when all of a sudden it sees something and you can see the expression, "MUST KILL!" on its face? Yeah, that's me when I see a fucking house centipede. They fucking GROSS me out, and I hate watching them move SO much.

Another reason to not touch a tarrantula, (other than the fuckers biting you, which sometimes happens,) is because their hairs are actually poisonous. You need to wash your hands WELL when you're done, or else you can give yourself some major eye/skin irritation if you touch somewhere on your body after having touched one of them. Apparently when they're in a fight that they're not doing well in, they run their legs on their body, sending a cloud of hairs up in some sort of poisonous smoke-screen, which gets in the eyes, nose and mouth of an attacker. While it would merely irritate a human, it can kill a rat...
