I am made of ham

God, I feel like shit. This week has been kicking my ass, what with going to the new job twice, once for paperwork and abother time for a tour of the facility. I didn't meet any clients, however, as they need to be told about me before meeting me. That comes tomorrow. Anyway, the flu is going around at school, and I think I am coming down with ( Read more... )

You've probably stopped reading comments by now, but I'd like to add my condolences. I've lived with horrid people before, including some foul ones, but this is a level to which I can't even imagine.

All "shite" aside, mind if I friend you? Your journal is pretty interesting.

I'd actually not stopped reading comments. I figure that if someone takes the energy to leave them, I can at least read them, though there are a LOT that I did not reply to. Especially the just plain boring ones, like LOL and OMG.

Friend away! ^_^

And your pretty cute. He tends to attract drama, like a Barney to children.

But it's never MY fault! I just have this drama magnet on me or something. I wonder what's up with that. I'm about to just say 'Fuck compassion' altogether...

I'm amazed by your continuing patience(even if it's just a little :P) to help her.

I wouldn't

If I don't, she could end up back out on the streets. You never know who will be pooed on next.

Seriously though, I DO want her to get help. I just don't know that I want anything to do with her past that point.

Yeah, no sweat. ^_^ I've been added to a lot of people's lists as a result of this whole drama, which is pretty funny.

Hopefully, everything will go much better for Shay now that she's been admitted to a hospital and all. Well, she's WAITING to be admitted, but she's waiting in a hospital, so same thing. She's getting cared for, and that's what's important.

Its pretty noble that you still wish to see her in good health. I havent read many of the comments on "the post" so i'm unsure if anyone has posed this question but...

Since she took an herbal pill that says it will cause diarreah, is it possible that shes sort of obsessed with shit? Like bullemia? Thats really the only thing I can think of. I mean, I too am a HUGE slob but shiting and pissing from one end of a house to the other is far beyond sloth. Also, is he being held in a psych ward more due to the suicide attempt or for her excessive slothfulness? That may sound strange but really, that kind of shit has to be a mental issue.

Also, do you mind if I friend you? Great journal, not too many this good on lj.

Hey, friend away, I'm cool with that. Hell, you're a Junko Mizuno fan, so you gotta be cool, eh? ^_~ LOVE her work.

We'll find out more as time goes on from her time in the psych ward and all. I will be adding more and more to the story as time goes on. ^_^

I agree with rucaheina above. You're pretty noble to still care for her like that after what she has done.

Bah the flu does seem to be going round at the moment. Most of my family are suffering with it at the moment, i'm sure it's only a matter of time before I end up catching it. Yay for illness!

Woah, congratulations on your assessment. That's a pretty funkylicious score!

^_^ Anyhow, hope things get better for you.

Over Eight Hundred responses...

Husku-Chan...you've done everything that a good friend and person could do (doo? ^_~). Remember the Last Words of the Buddha..."Subject to decay are all component things, struggle earnestly for your own Salvation". Or it could have been "Frickin' mushrooms!" too.

Maybe you should write a new topic on How you Met Shay and When. Perhaps you already did. Link it if you did but I'm interested. Was she one of those friends that would come into the HRC once in a blue moon?

But really...you got her help and now it's her responsibility to help herself. Or choose institutionalized American living which people are ready to do; structure, the appearance of getting "care" & "help", programs, ATTENTION. I went to therapy for six months after my breakup with ****, it helped greatly but I never was advised or prescribed meds...it was a lot of talking once a week then every other week and it got to the point where I felt I didn't need it anymore. The rest of the job was up to me. It was common sense ( ... )

I totally agree with you. I am pretty much thinking that I am going to stay in the periphery of her life so that she doesn't get pissed and try suing me for some ridiculous allegation or something. I don't know what she's capable of at this point, ya know? I cannot lift her up out of the pit of her own feces.

If you check back into the actual post, I added in a part about the meeting of Shay and all. She was an online and on the phone friend, so she never came into the HRC. Most of the friends that I saw at the HRC were from CT and all. She was from Ohio.

I read your copy from the Story again today and it appeared as though you revised it. Good! The revision really put some light on it. It totally answered my previous historical question.
