After only taking 'x' amount of a herbal remedy for sleep, I honestly don't think she wants to die. She is afraid of it like the bulk of us here. I strongly believe it was only a cry for attention. People who do commit suicide and are successful give no warning beforehand; they just go and do it.

Not necessarily. There are those who talk about it and do make some gestures/false starts and end up killing themselves. An old friend of mine and Suzy Gonzales of alt.suicide.holidayfame are cases in point.

you are way above and beyond your call of duty. show the docs or social workers or what not the pictures and tell them the shane stuff and then get the hell out of the situation. at this point, you owe her nothing.

Thanks. This sitch had me WAY too nerved up, and got in the way of my classes today, so I am ready to check out. Unfortunately, she is still trying to get into a psych ward/border care facility. Grr. I have to tell those docs and show them the pics. This sucks.
