What a day. What. A. Day.

So I went to the home yesterday after many phone calls were made. To bring everyone up to speed, the hospital gave me a few phone numbers, five to be exact. Only two of the five are still in working use. Of the two, one rings and rings and rings, and is supposedly her grandmother. The other one rings about five times and then goes to a machine ( Read more... )

Obesity, diabetes, hair growing on her face, mental illness (because almost anything hormonal can fuck up your mind but good)

Is anyone else thinking Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome?

Sorry you had to deal with this all the same...

uh...

As a woman with PCOS, I would like to report aht it's easy to manage, and even unmanaged I managed to stay quite sane (fragile, but still sane), maintain personal hygine, and otherwise be a normal funtional hum,an being. THere's one HELL of a difference between a manageable hormone disoirder and I major psyshological disordor like the one this woman clearly had.

Holy fucking shit. That poor woman--but more to the point, those poor people who had to deal with her in the last months!

Good luck getting in touch with her family. Although it sounds like they might have just stepped out of her life to save their own sanity.

I've known Shiroi-Oji here for over a decade...

so this is for him.

Jason,

You have the biggest heart for a short person. ^_~ Although you love to be critial and have a keen sense of outrage...your kindness outweighs (no pun, at all) your snideness. You...as all comic book fans should have, have a keen sense of right & wrong. I'm very proud of you for doing the "right thing".
Thank you for being just you. Selfless acts and true intention negate "bad karma" so you can keep on keeping on with your mouth & mind because when push comes to shove...you are a good person and you are a superhero.

Love,
Eric

She was obviously a very sick person, and it takes a very strong person to see past the filth and shit and obesity and everything to see that and take care of her. From what I've read you've done a good thing and were much kinder to her than most anyone else would have been.
