I think you did a great job in an alternate world. Liked it.
1. Cannot remember Aki's eyes..
2. Glasses is Kei Kirishima and big blonde guy is Suoh.
3. Aki is a freelance photographer but recently has been working
for a newspaper.
4. Asami is a mystery. No one knows everything he does.
He owns clubs and other businesses. Questions of arms dealings etc.
Is he a Yakuza? Only YA knows for sure. And she is not going to let
us know everything at one time...

2) The "blond gorilla"'s name is Kazumi Suoh I use his full name a few times in his Breast Cancer Awareness series if I recall correctly.
