Sometimes there's a gap that you can't seem to bridge. It's not that you don't know it's there. You watch others bridge it right under your nose. You see it, you think about it, you try not to hate it. And nonetheless, it seems that perhaps you've only made a little progress at a time. Steve, I know without a doubt that we have both been blessed by God in having each other. You're so incredibly wonderful. You've brought me tears of joy. I really don't know what to tell you that wouldn't be a repeat of what you've already said because, sweetheart, that's EXACTLY how I feel, how I know things are. I know people from the outside don't see things as clearly as you and I do, and they don't understand just how intricate the perfection is that God has created in us. I really wish everyone could see you through my eyes because when I look at you, I see heaven.
Never once have I resented the distance and our relationship. The distance has only made us stronger. It's the time that I've been frustrated with. I've never once wished that we weren't together because, sweetheart, I know this is it.
You're right, we've had our bumps, but I know we'll never be given anything insurmountable. We can conquer all.
