Because Tumblr should not get all of my blog-y posts...
Of all the questions that came to mind as I was leaving the theater, this one stood out the most:
why in all of space and time did these bloody fuckers decide to shoehorn THAT character into a plot that would've done just fine without it!?
Uh, spoiler alert?
(
spoiler alert! )

No seriously I just want a movie on Starfleet dealing with corruption from within in the wake of the Narada Incident/destruction of Vulcan that would've been GREAT
and I would totally read this story!

The movie was interesting before Cumberbatch came out as Khan. He should have stayed John Harrison, because John Harrison, rogue agent/possible genetic experiment of Starfleet, was more interesting than him really being Khan. They could have eluded to the Eugenics Wars as inspiration behind the creation of a new super-human soldier, maybe even mentioning Khan directly, but nooooo! It had to be Khan. *facepalm*
