I understand how it is, and for some parts, I felt the same way with my life. The things you're experiencing in uni, was what I experienced in TOA when I failed and was held back. I felt alone and couldn't talk to anyone 'cause most of my classmates spoke Mandarin. I don't know how to advise you on that (because I wasn't good at handling that situation as well @_@ I broke down twice) but know that I'm always there for you if you'd like to chat. :D Since typing it makes you feel better, by all means just MSN me. ♥

And not to seem bratty, but sometimes you need to voice out when you don't like something. Those pet peeves of yours, the cutting board and all. It's normal to feel irritated, and you don't even need to scold them. Just a gentle reminder to your housemate to wash up after they use it would be good. They probably think you'll be around to do it anyway so they just left it there. And as for labeling your items, DO IT! Put a seal around them as well so they can't use it! Yea I had experienced this back at SilverAnt back then cause most of them are chinese speakers, but the only difference was I somehow manage to get along with them. Even if it's not that close but still better than nothing i guess =X. I might type them out here instead since I'm still not comfortable about talking or chatting about it. It's not that I don't want to but I feel embarrassed? >_I guess I'll see if I could talk to her about it but I'm just scared to approach her since I don't often talk to her and the last time I tried to say hi to her at uni she didn't seem to care or take notice. Whatever you said last morning send chill down my spine. Bulu roma naik if you know wat i mean. Probably cause I don't have anyone to actually lecture to me about this things and yea. I just wat you to understand that I don't really have "close or best friends" that shares personal or emotional topics with. Sure I have close friends but I thought "close" was spending time with friends more often or talking to them but not getting that far into details. And maybe it's because I'm afraid that wat you guys might hear from me doesn't sound important. Sounds like I'm just ranting or something

hey sylvia, after reading this post, i felt a little more relieved,because since you never confide in us your problems, I kinda thought (somewhere in my heart) that you don't consider us close friends, at least not close enough to share your personal matters and problems, or even happiness. from now on, if you don't feel comfortable talking to us about it, you could always write like this, in your blog or even just do a group msn, because I understand too, sometimes it's easier to type things than saying it on the spot.. that sort of feeling

It's just that for so many years I didn't talk to anyone about this kind of personal problems. First off is probably cause I don't really know how is a "close or best friend" is supposed to be. I had always thought close friends are friends that you hang out with more often and talk to a lot. And also because I don't really know all this I just learn to keep them to myself. But to tell you the truth, back then I had been typing on blogs also just to relive myself but never in public or with friends. Most of my problems sounds unimportant and it makes me think that you guys might think it's a very small matter, nothing to worry about
