Writer's Block: Economizing

Jul 10, 2009 03:23

If I had to tighten my budget I think the first thing to go would be money I spend to go out with friends like on restaurants, movies, shopping, etc. because that's really all I spend my money on, and the real reason I attend such events is to hang out which can easily be done without the cost.
I honestly actually should be tightening my budget since over the summer I have been wasting a lot of money like this.  I'm sure my friends would be perfectly happy just hanging out with me at home or going to a park.  It doesn't have to be so pricey all the time.  I don't have a job so usually I don't even have the money though until plans are made; I just ask my mom but... I'm sure she would like me to eliminate my spending too (I would say to 'limit my spending' but it pretty much is already limited...).
It's not even that I have been spending a bunch of money this summer though I guess...just more than usual since my friends and I have more free time, and I actually have more important things to spend it on now that I've started up a company.  Need materials and stuff..but I am also behind on getting costume material.
Ah well, I'll just hope I won't need to limit my spending, and instead will spend my money on more worthy things...and maybe get a job if someone actually hires me for once *hinthint* heheh.
