Earthquake woke me up last night.

Not the giant-ass 1906 San Francisco v.2.0 everyone's been afraid of since Chile and Haiti, but still enough to remind us that, uh, yeah, San Andreas is a transform fault that's fully alive and kicking and hasn't had a major rupture for about a century or roughly century and a half between ruptures, depending on ( Read more... )

what is this i don't even, cali: sunny with a chance of quakes

I'm good, we get little ones once every year or two. The big one, on the other hand... yeah, to put it in the words of one of the sempai-tachi, "Just you wait, we'll be boned soon enough."

It's my sister. She's nuts. And a pedo-noona. That is all. \o/

LOL I sleep through most of the earthquakes here! The last time I remember one was summer '08, before high school started. They happen every couple of years, but we usually get the tail end of some of the bigger ones. Apparently there's a branch of San Andreas that runs through this part of California >_>

Nothing broke, but I remember lying in bed and wondering if I was imagining the aftershocks. Everyone was running around asking if they'd felt it XD Some of my friends were all "EARTHQUAKE WHAT EARTHQUAKE DX". Moving some of the more fragile items off the shelves, though. I'm amazed none of them fell off, though, some of them are inches away from the edge x_X

LOL Be glad there are no natural disasters! We're waiting on a potential big one D8 That's not going to be fun for anybody.

This is the '08 screencap, by the way, but this morning's woke up a good chunk of my classmates XDDD About half were the WHAAAAAT group and the other group was filled by kids who were "omg did you feel that" or @_@ "kafldjsl could not go back to sleep stupid quake". Hence the sudden appearance of many more zombies this morning at school.

She's Grey, but her mood says she's delighted. Mm, dilemma. :Q____

SHUT UP YOU GUYS. I seriously thought it was kitties on the roof. We've had stray cats bouncing up and down doing god knows what on the roof before, and I hear it because it's usually MY part of the house over which they run. And it was a very light shaking D:

HAVE YOU EVER SLEPT IN MY ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN 5-6 CATS COME RUNNING AND FIGHTING ACROSS THE ROOF RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU? I DIDN'T THINK SO.

The stray cats around our neighborhood are FAT D:
