"Hi! Can I buy you a drink?"
"I'm sure you can. You look like a really rich dude but you may not," Ohno said then flashing his left hand. "I'm married."
"Oh. That person must be lucky. You have a great night."
"You too."
Ohno watched as the guy walked away. He then ordered two drinks - one for him and one for his friend who just came in the bar and sat beside him.
"You are wearing that ring again. What is up with you? Can't you see this crowd? A lot of hot guys are in it."
"I can see that but I can also see a lot of hot guys who aren't my type."
"Ugh, how do you even make it work?"
"If I don't like the person then I'll show him the ring and let him assume that I'm married but If I like him then I'll tell him the truth."
"Okay but what if a guy who would happen to be your type gets cockblocked when he sees your ring and rids himself of the chance
of talking to you?"
Ohno stares off into the distance.
"Are you even listening?"
"Walk away now. I think someone's gonna offer me a drink."
