got a raise and i got promoted at work. i'm happy it wont all be closing shifts. but i will be closing on saturdays, because we're having poetry readings and music. which is great. but i will have to bother someone for a couch or a floor, because we close an hour later... remember when i got stranded.. walked around all night.. fun shit. hopefully ( Read more... ) -

I have not fallen asleep to music for years. When I wasn't such a light sleeper, Explosions in the Sky was my nights' soundtrack. If I ever watch the sun rise with inspiration, or a new found state of mind, Explosions in the Sky will be blaring through my head.
Back to work tomorrow. Late shift... and a pissy coworker. Yay. -

for the past 6 months i've felt as though my best friend died without having a chance to say goodbye. since i am young i was hoping it would take less time to heal. like it has in the past. but now i find myself wanting to move on, and i feel completely empty still. i feel helpless. i want a change.

i got a call from alex about an hour oe two ago and he was driving through richmond! i'm going to try and drag him to the balazo gallery tomorrow night. weeeee.
