I'm not sure I want to go because he's boring me, it'll be full of aggravation from my two erstwhile colleagues (one of whom is stalking me on twitter which I've now had to flock) and it's just all too much faff for a wanker who won't sleep with me and is incredibly hard work

As to Totty's party, show up just to drop off a card and gift; have one drink, then tell Totty that you're sorry, but you have another commitment that evening, and you wish him the best, and it was nice seeing him again, and you hope he'll stay in touch. Then pull a fast exit and go see a terrible film or something.

Seriously though why can't you put filling out timesheets in the timesheet? I had a friend who was surprised to be praised by an H.R. muppet for her consistent work ethic. She didn't like to point out that the only things she ever bothered to change on her worksheets was the date.
The best time to make progress in a job is at the beginning.

My new job is fine - a bit dull but that's better than screaming point with stress.
My parents... are a trial, but ok. Mumsy was apparently having a lot of tests for something that turned out to be do with her existing meds
I'm doing fine now - I've just about stopped coughing! I'm writing.
And totty and i went out last Friday and had a nice time.
