To find I've forgotten how to write.

Like seriously forgotten. Can't work out who my POV is, can't work out whether I'm third person limited or omniscient, like... whoah, how does this work.

It'll come back to me I'm sure.

If it helps, I'm moving at the speed of mud, too. Didn't I used to have a good brain for this and could crank out 2 x 30K stories per round of the SSHG Exchange?? I have also forgot how to do slapstick, which is super annoying. Ah well. It took me a while to settle on a POV as well, and then I had to go back and re-write bits of the opening.

I'm not Nanoing, but I am going to be working on a bunch of short projects that I MUST finish in November if you need someone for mutual flailing.

Struggling with the same sort of thing. This morning I have a rare occasion to write for a few hours, and it's cheering to know I'm not the only one.

Also, I know you'll deliver - this year's Hoggy is actually a decade of you getting the job done, I just realised. Wow!

My hoggy piece is going well and will be a work of sodding genius that will pull at your heart strings and just be.... fabulous.

I have had to shift the POV.

Unfortunately my gift fest piece is not going so well as I don't believe in love at the moment! And I can't write sulky man as love object as I'm dealing with it sucks.
