Hayfever is making me very irritable

Screams into the void

I have tried doing stuffs to move life forward and they've not gone well due to the fact that no one has simple email systems any more, they've got smart AI systems to deal with issues, only not with the issue that I have, viz trying to find out just how much of an Egyptology first degree I did twenty years ago so that I can ( Read more... )

Sorry about the hay fever. Breathing is such an under-appreciated activity.

Hope the studies work out for you. That sounds like it would be fun, or at least a sensible way to spend the time. How do you fancy your chances of getting it worked out?

Mmmm well I satisfy the education requirements because Ive got a masters already. I just need to show some Egyptology experience. I’m not sure a couple of courses twenty years ago will be enough but it’s worth a pop.

I got my law masters entry by a fluke. Could be a lot of competition

I hope you will be able to sort out the Egyptology degree with the university. It sounds like it would be a lot of fun.

I'm currently sitting here with a headache, runny nose, sticky eyes and a sore throat, so understand the hayfever misery (I have eyed up the horse chestnut at the far end of the garden, and have hopes that both the local chestnutes and lime trees will stop with the airborne sex frolics soon).

Good luck with both the job front and the university - my daughter is currently at home studying, and the sudden need to do a whole uni's worth of classes/work online, especially when many students have scattered across the globe, and what the hell they are going to be doing about both exams and graduation and sorting out next academic year means there is less likely to be either people or time to spare for such requests :(

I've not seen anything about the Exchange except here - is there somewhere to sign up for updates?

Hope you feel better soon. Good luck with the degree.

I read 'Silver Rainbow' years ago, but I forget where. :/

I have a vague memory that she was willing to send it to people if they asked nicely, with the proviso that they shouldn't judge her for something she wrote when she was about twelve. But that was a long time ago.

Indeed good luck with the master's application. Aren't you another person with more than one undergraduate degree?

That was true once but she didn’t reply when I asked.

Yep. A person can never have too many degrees I think
