Fiddling with a cracked copy of "American McGee's Alice" on my laptop and I can NOT get it to work. I want to throw things.
WEIRD COINCIDENCE - I happened to start watching a Lets Play of that game yesterday, having figured I wanted to know what happened in it but lacking the gaming skeelz required for any platformer (I suuuuuuck, hardcore, at platformers, Kingdom Hearts is seriously about as advanced a platformer as I can take, I'm that bad).
Kingdom Hearts has a few platformy bits. "a few" is more than enough to cripple me - Shadow of the Collossus is taking me about two hours per enemy WITH a walkthrough because I fail so hard at platforming XD
Ugh, I hate that SO much. It always happens to me. I wish I could go to bed at a decent hour and get up early every day. Somehow I can never manage it more than a couple days in a row, and it sucks. I want a decent sleep schedule, damn it. Good luck to you, adjusting. x_x If you find a miracle way to get to sleep on time, do let me know.
I have that game. I couldn't really get into it. I'm not comfortable with computer controls for that format. Might try again someday, but the cheesy dialogue was a little too much for me, lol.
I also blame the fact that I usually fall asleep on my bed for about 1 or 2 hours when I come home from work... and then so I stay up later...
I really need a better system of staying awake and burning energy so maybe I will get to sleep at a decent time...
I'm currently thinking of maybe going to the gym after work everyday and just burning calories on the ellipticals... But I never really know how the whole burning calories thing works... ^^;;; Because I eat breakfast, then work from 10-2ish, then go to the gym for an hour... and then go home for dinner... wouldn't I be starving by then that I'd gorge myself? And then I'd have to go and burn more calories? Should you eat before going to the gym or after?
I don't know, I can never eat after a big workout. It makes me nauseous. But I suppose if you haven't eaten enough during the day, working out would make you super hungry, lol. Good luck with whatever you end up doing! I need to get back to exercising again, myself. I can't believe I have to lose all of that weight again. Ugh.
I would eat something light and high protein before you work out. That's what I used to do. Have something light and filling as possible prepared for later?
Yeah, I've been getting to sleep at around the same time lately. I got up at 7:30 on Saturday, and I was going to get up then today, too, but I let myself sleep in another two hours, ugh. Anyway, I have a thing I have to go to tonight, and I really hope it doesn't throw me off. I'm going to try to get up at 7:30 again. I like being up really early, so if I can turn this into a habit, awesome.
Yeah... I need to desperately lose weight again. This summer I've really been putting on the pounds due to my depression and stuff and if I need to hit the single life/dating scene again I want to really look and feel healthy once more. I usually eat a salad after work... and that usually tides me over for a while... so... we'll see. I should probably put my plan into action tomorrow. Let's go me!!!
