I know I've said it probably half a dozen times but I'll say it again. I am really happy for y'all. I've known Sairo, at least in some capacity, going on 7 years now and I can't recall ever seeing him happier.
It is also awesome that Siam is now gainfully employed.
I was wondering...vagrantbearJanuary 11 2013, 11:23:16 UTC
Hi,
I do have one major question burning away at my curiosity.
First off, I'll say I was a huge fan of Knotcast, I listened to it from the beginning to about episode 180 before my stereo broke and it wasn't something I could accompany on long drives but a few recent developments have left me somewhat concerned.
From an outside perspective, I read the bit where you said feelings grew with Sairo with a growing "oh crap" kind of feeling. I'd kinda say the way his ex reacted wasn't entirely a surprise to be honest.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy you've found a partner you really like. From what I've understood Sairo's ex has moved on himself but given the amount of sway your show has I was wondering, if the event described had been a letter written in, would you have warned against it?
If you don't feel like answering publicly either I'm okay with that.
--Edit forgot to add that I've made this LJ account specifically to ask this question. Nothing more, I plan on killing it once I have heard back.

Well, when the feelings developed I immediately went to both Sairo and the ex, and admitted to it. The ex said he'd guessed, and it was fine. He knew I wasn't intending to 'take Sairo away' -- and I didn't. I knew from the get-go that it wasn't going to be a relationship beyond two people living apart, occasionally spending time together

Thanks for the reply,
Well I guess that clarifies that then! I see where you're coming from now which is great, I can also identify with Sairo's ex's side because I have major issues telling people I'm not happy with a situation. Granted that doesn't help the situation at all; it's hard changing one's stripes I suppose, I'm still working on it myself.
Well keep on keeping on then, thanks for taking time out to respond!
P.s. I didn't know about taurs before listening to Knotcast. They. Are. Awesome.

Edit: Trying out a semicolon to correct a run-on.
