I actually have an entry planned for today, but now is not the right time.  So here is this, which made me exceptionally happy.

I have come to the realization that I really like cephalopods, particularly the shell-less ones, and specifically octopus and squid.  When somebody finds an extra $400, I would like this.

Well, the Holiday rush is over.  The trees can come down, the wreaths packed for another year, the decorations boxed.  It was a generally good holiday, but it ate through the 5k personal loan I took out to pay off my credit cards.  After the funeral and a few other mishaps we ended up only being able to pay off 4 of the 7 cards we had.  That's ( Read more... )
