8.9 Magnitude earthquake hits Japan...

My heart goes out to the people of Japan today, after an 8.9 magnitude earthquake (called the largest quake in Japan's history) and tsunami hit earlier. Sure, they are probably better-prepared for this than most other countries, but still there will be a lot of people who happened to be in the wrong place and the wrong time.

Oh geez. Something like that is building up under Vancouver, too, from what I've heard. I wonder how long they have?

Interesting; I haven't heard that yet... but then, I don't read as much news as I probably should.
