Kind of bumming around Nanjing while I wait for my visa to come through. I'm kind of on city-arrest, because the Chinese government requires you to show your passport at all hotels and whenever you buy a plane ticket. I could take daytrips of course, but it seems easier to sort of bum around here until Mason and Larissa arrive

on a plane ride the other day i started writing short jots (word?) about great stories about turbulance and whatnot. not gonna be a book, just an unpublished napkin...

When we picked him up at Mom's he was barking at the cookie container. Mom proudly told me that he likes cookies...and bananas...and fritos and a number of things! Also that he prefers to be free at night to sleep in his little fluffy bed and not in his crate.
Poor pup is back to reality.

I haven't heard from you in over two weeks. Your cell phone is 'no longer a working number' and there's no answer on your dorm room phone. I know you were planning to be back to your dorm by the beginning of lunar new year (two days ago).
