On free will... I like to look at it this way: You can make any choice you want, but in the end, if you fast forward to the future (of this universe), there's only one choice you did make. It all will turn out one way, and yet you made all the choices that led to this future freely. If there's a god or some omniscient being, then they could even predict your free choices, by studying the electrons bouncing around in your brain and knowing which universe we're in. Or simply looking into the future. None of this means you don't choose freely, though. Your fate may be predetermined, but it's also your choice. Choose to go into university, or straight to work, or join the army. Whatever you choose, when you look back, that's what you were fated to choose. But it is your choice. Your fate is certainly in your hands

That's exactly what I'm saying....all choices we make will eventually lead us to what we were fated to do. We make choices consciously and unconsciously, but I feel that those conscious choices is what makes us feel like we are free to do as we please. But then again, those choices as well play a part in our Fate. It was all meant to happen.

My true soulmate....I might be too young still, but I feel as if I have already met them. Or maybe it's just one out of those 6,000 that you mentioned. Who knows....I just hope they figure it out in time before I pass on to the next life.

When you meet your soulmate, you'll know. There will be no questions, and everything you've ever asked yourself or doubted will suddenly feel silly. You'll just simply know.

It's perhaps a little daunting to think that there's only one person out there that fit you perfectly, but the thing is... those two souls will drift towards one another, completely unknowingly. I suppose that fits into your Fate theme.

I'm talking from experience though. Even the most unlikely of meetings will happen, if it's meant to. :)

Hmm...I think you're right. I have met someone whom I feel a great connection with, as if I was drawn to her by some magnetic force, and I just can't pull away. but I think she needs Time right now. I can't say for sure that she's my soulmate, but I feel such a strong connection with her that it makes me believe that she is "The One"

It was an unlikely meeting...but now I just have to see if her feelings are strong enough to overcome the doubt and fears in her mind about homosexuals. =\ It's only been six months that I've known her, but the moment I confessed to her that I think I'm in love with her....it was one of those unconscious things. I didn't realize what I had said until the deed had been done. And now, she's afraid and won't talk to me.

Hmm, that is a tricky situation. I'm sorry to hear about that. There's several reasons for her reaction, but it's probably best I don't speculate, as I don't know her. Wouldn't want to give you false hope either. That's cruel in itself

It's been two weeks, and so far, no luck. All I can really do is just keep waiting until she approaches me on her own and decides to talk to me.

How can I remind her of our friendship if she doesn't even want to see or talk to me?

I see what you mean....I think it's one of those things I have to experience. It's all too confusing right now for me to give back a proper response lol
